nice product November 29, 2008
I originally bought this to light our gas cook top which was an older one with pilot lights that we had turned off. After going through lots of cheaper lighters I got this one and it is a great product. it takes a little practice to use but not bad. We replaced the cooktop so we don't use it for that anymore but now I use this to light my gas grill and it works great for that too. I'd buy it again
Zippo Mini Butane Lighter November 9, 2008
I recently purchased 2 Zippo Mini Butane Lighters to give away as gifts.
I've had one for a number of years, which I use to fire up my barbecue grill. My wife uses it to light her scented candles. Smokers would find it handy to light their cigarettes, cigars, or pipes. It has an elegant
appearance, and would look good anywhere in the home or office.
 I've had them stop working after time November 1, 2008
Nice lighter for candles, cookouts, camping etc. Zippo will charge you 5.00 dollars to fix this one which is about half the cost. That does not include waiting for the special box to send it in (USPS Regs) and you paying postage. I had a larger version fail twice now after a year of use.
the perfect lighter October 30, 2008
I bought 18 from this lighter so far, i place them every where, in the car, beside my bed in the kitchen, very very useful, also perfect for lightening birthday cake candles instead of any regular lighter that got your finger burnt

I have arthritic hands, so most lighters with a safety button are painful for me to use. Not the Zippo MPL, though. I've been using the cobalt blue one for 3 years now with no trouble up until two weeks ago when it stopped lighting. I assume the flint inside gave out, but after 3 years of frequent use, I'm not surprised! I intend to replace it with another of the same model.
